Nice welcome home session at Pevensey Bay

Gaastra 5.0m Manic & Tabou 3S 97, ideal for the tide pushing with the wind as easy to stay upwind ... wind was a bit up and down with odd squally bits, but pretty much 5.0m weather throughout session ... nice ramps for big floaty jumps too . There were some pretty good waves pushing in on the mid tide, and the wind obligingly swung a little more cross shore, but also dropped a notch. Reckon it was Pocket Wave 78 weather for a while, but typically I'd travelled light as using the wife's car and left that one at home but as ever the 3S 97 served it's turn of duty with little complaint

had a quick spin on VFW Marks new toy (JP RWW 83 ... think it was 83 anyway) with his trusty 5.2m storm and that also wasn't scared of heights

all that and we were privvy to some pre-airshow practice runs overhead too
